METALIB, SFX and PRIMO DIRECT
Following a thorough survey of existing Ex Libris customers in Australia, we are pleased to announce that starting July 1, 2008, customers in Australia and New Zealand will be offered the option to subscribe to MetaLib, SFX, and Primo Direct, an annual fee- based service. We will continue to monitor customer interest in annual fee-based services, and may offer additional Ex Libris product solutions using this model.
Some of the main benefits of the annual fee-based services are:
• Low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): Customers choosing an Ex Libris annual fee-based service, will not be required to purchase and maintain hardware, greatly reducing upfront costs. As all aspects of system administration are managed by Ex Libris, minimal customer attention will be required to maintain the system.
• Reliability: Ex Libris annual fee-based services will be run out of a Datacomm facility located in Australia, thus offering a highest level of performance and reliability.
